Psychotherapist


Description: Has worked in private practice and community agencies as a therapist and supervisor for over 15 years. For 8 years, Lee has been a core faculty member with ISIS-Canada.

Credentials:
  • Masters degree in expressive Arts, ISIS Canada, Toronto and European Graduate School, Switzerland.
  • Lee is certified in psychotherapy with O.A.C.C.P.P. (Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. Membership #3278)
  • Two years training at Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, Toronto.
  • Bachelor Social Work, Ryerson University, Toronto.
  • Over 14 years experience as a therapist, with an experienced supervisor.
  • Lee has been a core faculty member of ISIS Canada for over 8 years. She has taught the Foundations of Expressive Arts Course for the last three years.
  • Working as an expressive arts therapist at the Griffin Centre for over 6 years. At this youth agency, Lee is doing individual, group and community work.
  • Lee is a working encaustic artist. She uses her own art making to process the joys and suffering she witnesses in the world.

Population served: Adults, youth and children.
Areas of expertise & experience: Experience in working with issues of trauma, violence, addictions, anxiety, depression, creativity, stress, relationships and self-esteem. She has a  personal interest in feminism, anti-oppression and art-makinganda political interest in issues of race, sexual orientation, gender, class, age, language, ethnicity and mobility.
