My work focus expertise is mostly with children and youth addressing issues of trauma, self-esteem, attachment issues, self esteem, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, learning disabilities and special needs using non-directive and directive integrated play therapy approaches.
However, I do have experience and enjoy working with adults of all ages using a variety of therapeutic modalities that best help individuals including CBT/CPT. I am especially interested in working with more seniors and families.
Credentials: Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) B.A. Humanities/Art History McMaster A.M.I. Montessori Teaching Diploma Certificate in Adult Education from University of Manitoba Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy, The Create Institute
Additional training: Play therapy trained (CAPT level 1, 2, and 3) narrative therapy trained, Suicide Assist certified, SafeTalk, ASD and Dual Diagnosis certified, FASD trained, CPR and First Aid. CBT and CPT trained.
Professional affiliations: Ontario Expressive Arts Therapy Association , Member of the Canadian Association for Play Therapy and in the process of becoming certified.
