4 i) CREATE Class Cancellations or Closures Due to faculty absence/a pandemic lockdown and/or adverse
Class cancellations may occur due to severe weather or instructor illness.
Decisions during extreme weather will follow Environment Canada – City of Toronto advisory. Notifications for cancellations or online shifts will be communicated by 9am for morning class, and 2pm for evening class via email to all. Students are expected to prioritize safety in travel. Notify instructors promptly if unable to attend due to poor travel conditions. Missed classes due to severe weather from other regions will count as absences.
Instructors, report illness or cancellations to administration for timely student and TA notification. The instructor should send an email to students. The Director will ensure contingency plans for extended absences.
Classes may resume online, or make-up classes in-person may be re-scheduled.
