The CREATE Institute is a collaborating partner with the European Graduate School, Malta (EGS) in Switzerland. EGS is a governmentally-approved Swiss University, founded in 1995.
Further Study:
  • CREATE students who are admitted to EGS receive advanced standing and can attend Post graduate courses by attending three 3-week summer sessions in Switzerland and complete an arts-based thesis
  • EGS courses are conducted in English.
The collaboration of The CREATE Institute with the training programs in Europe and the United States means that CREATE participates in an International as well as a North American network. Students are encouraged to explore these international links.

One opportunity for doing so is through the CREATE Institute membership in the International Network of Expressive Arts Therapy Training Centres . This organization sponsors the annual Easter Symposium in Expressive Arts Therapy, held each year in a different country in Europe, and the Harvest Symposium,held in North America.
CREATE Institute students and graduates are also encouraged to apply for membership in the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA), a non-profit, professional membership organization for Expressive Arts Therapists, Educators, Coaches and Artists.

Credit Transfer: The alumni of Create Institute’s 3-Yr Expressive Arts Therapy (EXAT) Diploma Program shall be eligible for up to 50% credit transfer towards the MA degree in Theology in the field of Spirituality and Community Engagement (SCE) at Luther.

Credit Transfer Petition: Students seeking credit transfer must submit the relevant petition to Luther’s Academic Administration Admission (AAC) committee requesting credit transfer. The AAC committee shall review each petition on a case-by-case basis, considering the petitioner’s academic record, course contents and alignment with the MA program requirements.
