Nanika Albricht
My practise begins before the session as I ground myself and attune to their energy, anticipating our connection. I often will pick something up just before a meeting that becomes relevent to the session.Starting where they are at in the moment, fully present to the person I am with and holding space for a creative journey together. Working relationally with the person, staying open to what is coming forward during the session, allowing their expression to be seen and heard. Keeping a safe environment that supports them in processing and making connections to their inner story.
In my practice I use a variety of art mediums to create images to work with, incorporating visual arts, song and music, play, dance, puppetry and dramatizations. The arts is introduced as an invitation and we go together into the creative world to look and express together. I range from being a participant in the creation, to being a witness and reflector of what I see come forward. I allow my intuition to guide me in reflecting back in the arts as it emerges during the session. I value holding a safe space and to find a balance in every session offering comfort and safety along with stepping out into the discomfort to meet the edge where there is space for growth and healing.
