I currently work with children, youth and their caregivers, along with adults in my private practice in Muskoka Ontario. I provide MIM theraplay assessments and supports for children and caregivers to provide strengthening relationship attachments.
I have a play therapy room set up to provide child centered non-directive and directive integrative play therapy supports for children who deal with issues such as: anxiety, sensory issues, non-neuro typical, self-esteem, behavioural challenges, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, school refussal etc. I also work with individuals of various ages who deal with issues of trauma symptoms, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, abuse, suicidal ideation, anger management, self-harm, self-identity and sexual identity, grief and eating disorders.
I provide a non invasive integrative 5 hour non-invasive listening therapy support called Safe and Sound Protocol ( based on the poly-vagal theory) for children, youth and adults to help support the automatic nervous system to help with anxiety, sensory issues, and trauma symptoms.
Credentials: Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) B.A. Humanities/Art History McMaster A.M.I. Montessori Teaching Diploma Certificate in Adult Education from University of Manitoba Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy, The Create Institute
